James Lipetzky graduated from film school and quickly made his first feature length film. It was the trailer he cut for that film that afforded him the lucky break of landing a job in the industry. He quickly rose from assistant to full time editor and it wasn’t long before he was at the top of everyone’s editor’s list from coast to coast. In 2004, Lipetzky felt the timing was right to strike out on his own and formed Foundation where he has helped evolve the company into one of the premiere hybrid production/post production companies. James is equally as proficient behind the camera as in the edit bay as he continues to evolve as a director. Always up for a new challenge, clients know they can trust James to bring his original vision to every project he does.
